How does it work?

As a prerequisite to your joining our program, we ask you to read the booklet, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy by Neal Rouzier, M.D. Once you have read this booklet and decide to move forward with hormone replacement therapy, we will test your blood levels of various hormones, vitamins and minerals and schedule a consultation with one of our providers.

During your consultation, lab results will be discussed in detail and recommendations will be made to correct sub-optimal levels. Your initial prescription will be for a 60-day supply. Your next lab studies will be drawn about 5 weeks into your treatments. A week later you will have your follow-up visit with your provider to review the lab results and receive your next prescription for another 60 days. This process will be repeated until your serum levels of specific hormones, vitamins and minerals are optimized. At that time, we will start testing your serum levels twice yearly and adjust your prescriptions as needed.
